Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Transfast Trucking. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues, including those related to Volvo engines and automatic transmissions.
  • Utilize Fullbay or similar software to manage maintenance and repair activities.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of diesel systems, including DEF systems, and Cummins engines.
  • Assist with road service calls and participate in the maintenance of dry van trailers.

Job Details:

  • Work schedule includes Monday to Friday with rotating weekends and Thursday to Monday shifts.
  • Competitive pay and benefits package, including paid time off after 90 days.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Experience with Volvo engines and automatic transmissions.
  • Knowledge of Fullbay or similar software.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
