Emergency Medicine Medical Director Opportunity in Binghamton, NY

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead our team in Binghamton, NY. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical direction of our emergency department and ensuring high-quality patient care.
About the Role- Salary:$230-$245 per hour, plus RVU bonuses up to $15/hour, quarterly incentives, and additional EMS director compensation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with leadership experience and a passion for emergency medicine. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, streamline clinical operations, and enhance the overall quality of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical direction and oversight to the emergency department team
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve strategic goals and objectives
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, healthcare administration)
- Current licensure to practice medicine in New York State
- Board certification in emergency medicine or a related specialty
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an emergency medicine physician, preferably in a leadership role
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
