Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Interim HealthCare Duluth, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. Our team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to delivering excellent patient care, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Assist with daily needs, such as ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes.
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a medical facility.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
