Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for the Resource Pool in the PCU department.
Shift Details: Day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, working 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a large hospital setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Must be adaptable to work across all PCU and Medical Surgical units
- COVID-19 Vaccination required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons
- Flu Vaccination required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are classified as local; local candidates are not eligible, except for Inpatient RNs within a 75-mile radius
The Resource Pool RN position entails a start date as soon as possible, with a commitment of 13 weeks, working three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. We are currently focusing on candidates with substantial experience in large hospital environments. Travelers must be prepared to work in all PCU and MS units. The staffing office evaluates the needs of the entire hospital every four hours, meaning Resource Pool nurses may be reassigned to different units as necessary.
Patient Ratios:
PCU: 5 patients per nurse
MS: 6 to 7 patients per nurse
Unit: Resource Pool
