Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity

Mercy Medical Group, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join their team. As a shareholder-track opportunity, this position offers a competitive compensation package, extensive benefits, and an excellent retirement plan.
The ideal candidate will have a valid and unrestricted California medical license, board eligibility or certification in the specified area of medical specialty, and completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and performing surgical and non-surgical procedures. Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams is essential, as is maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
The practice will be based in Folsom, CA, where the provider will have access to outpatient clinic facilities and OR availability at low-acuity hospitals and nearby ASCs. Excellent colleagues with subspecialty training and support, PAs for both clinic and OR, and a large referral base make this an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations
- Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement
- Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations
- Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Pay Range: $583,000 - $618,000 / Year
