Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized speech and language therapy to K-5 students
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure student progress and success
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing regular progress reports
- Fostering an inclusive environment that promotes the growth and development of bilingual students
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with a strong understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances
- Previous experience working in an elementary school setting is highly desirable
