We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. As a member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of the RN/LPN, including activities of daily living, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights, and Intake/Output data collection.
- Transport patients, restock and obtain patient care supplies, and respond to patient and family needs in a timely manner.
- Function within policies, procedures, and guidelines of Sturdy Memorial Hospital, adhering to Joint Commission, CDC, and OSHA standards.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required; Certification as a nursing assistant and BLS competency within 2 months of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and ability to perform simple math calculations.
- Commitment to customer relations and continuous quality improvement.
Working Conditions:
This is a 32-hour per week, evening shift position, including every other weekend and holiday. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
