Culinary Artist

Corktown Taphouse is seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to our menu specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Work with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain quality and consistency in every dish.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to quality and consistency in food preparation.
• Culinary school education is a plus but not required.
