Join Our Team as an Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspector
As a vital member of our organization, you will be entrusted with the critical task of conducting thorough inspections of aircraft and their components. Your role will ensure compliance with General Work Requirements, facilitate hidden damage assessments, and confirm that all documentation aligns with engineering standards and maintenance protocols by the conclusion of each shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process, pre/post flight, and final inspections of experimental aircraft to guarantee adherence to engineering specifications, company-specific special inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules while addressing safety of flight issues.
- Oversee and inspect the installation of all experimental ground test articles.
- Witness and/or evaluate the assembly, installation, and functional tests according to relevant engineering and functional test specifications for all components and systems.
- Perform initial assessments of experimental aircraft upon arrival from final assembly to ensure proper installation of production and experimental components and systems, as well as to evaluate the overall condition of the aircraft.
- Confirm that in-flight and ground discrepancies have been resolved prior to flight release for Bombardier-Learjet experimental aircraft and ground tests for Canadian flight test aircraft.
- Document discrepancies and collaborate with assigned experimental technicians or engineering teams to facilitate resolution.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and complies with engineering specifications and aircraft configuration before flight.
- Maintain comprehensive records and files, including maintenance records, inspection logs, aircraft logs, functional test procedures, and flight test work orders for all ground test articles and experimental aircraft.
- Draft conformities that verify assemblies and installations are executed according to engineering specifications.
- Weigh experimental aircraft and initiate relevant weight and balance documentation in accordance with engineering specifications and quality manuals.
- Monitor and update certification status for tools and equipment.
Work Schedule:
Available shifts include both 1st and 2nd shifts.
