Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Accentus Health LLC. The psychiatrist will play a pivotal role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with psychiatric disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and psychiatric interventions, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, to address co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, counselors, and other members of the treatment team to ensure integrated care and holistic support for patients.
  • Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings to review progress, adjust treatment goals, and coordinate care.
  • Offer education and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of psychiatry and participate in continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Completed at least 3 years of residency in psychiatry.
  • Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the state of Indiana as issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
  • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  • Board certification in Adult Psychiatry.
  • Strong diagnostic and assessment skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in a clinical office environment. A flexible schedule is permitted. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
