Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Plumbing Trainee. This role involves assisting experienced plumbers in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential settings. The position is nonexempt and may involve overtime based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of plumbing systems while adhering to safety and code regulations.
  • Utilize essential tools effectively, including:
    • 15-foot tape measure
    • Large channel lock pliers
    • Torpedo level
    • 8-inch adjustable wrench
    • Flat and Phillips screwdrivers
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately read measurements to ensure precision in installations.
  • Exhibit initiative in learning plumbing techniques and systems.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment while performing all tasks.
  • Support lead technicians with various job-related activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential for success in this role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of a recognized trade or technical program, or equivalent experience of 2-5 years.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the plumbing trade.
  • Maintain professionalism in client interactions through appropriate attire and demeanor.
  • Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Adhere to attendance policies as outlined by the company.
