Job Description

This Community Development Manager role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our apartment communities in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive resident experience, managing budgets and staff, and promoting collaboration and inclusivity among employees.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Resident Relations: Develop and implement effective resident retention strategies, ensure timely and efficient response to resident complaints and concerns.
  • Fiduciary: Manage community budgets, rent rolls, and occupancy goals, identify opportunities for revenue growth and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Staff Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of residential staff, provide coaching and training to improve performance and productivity.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in property management, with 2+ years as a community/property manager.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work well under pressure, knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications highly desired.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
