Distinguished Surgical Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced surgical pathologist to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Our state-of-the-art laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge technology, allowing us to provide exceptional patient care and advanced diagnostic services.
About the RoleThis is a full-time clinical track position available for board-certified/eligible surgical pathologists with subspecialty fellowship training in areas such as Head and Neck Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Breast Pathology, Genitourinary Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, and Cardiovascular/Transplant Pathology. General Surgical Pathology subspecialty fellowship training is also desirable.
Responsibilities- Perform complex surgical pathology procedures and interpret results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and improve patient outcomes
- Participate in educational programs and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Board certification or eligibility in anatomic pathology
- Subspecialty fellowship training in one of the above-mentioned areas
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Tennessee
Vanderbilt University Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
