Electrical Engineer Role Summary

The Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development of new products at Insight Global. This position requires a candidate who can bring innovative ideas and experience to the product design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping products new, competitive, and marketable.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop electrical designs for next-generation products
Continuously improve design for existing products
Support current products with alternative components as needed
Design verification and execution, documenting results
Testing and evaluation of legacy or third-party products
Research and innovation design solutions to maintain cost-effectiveness

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Electrical Engineering (related fields considered)
4-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
Ability to lay PCBs and experience with circuit modeling and schematic capture
Experience with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers and digital signal generators
Can create engineering verification test plans based on product requirements
Computer skills (such as Microsoft Office)

Nice to Have:

Experience with RF-based devices/systems
Experience with BLE, LF communication, or flex circuit design
Experience with design/integration of single-chip, low-power wireless receivers (experience with TI, Silicon Labs, Freescale, Atmel, Analog Devices, Broadcom, Marvell highly desired)
Experience integrating firmware
Understanding of codes and standards (such as UL and IEEE)
Bare PCB soldering ability
