The Reny Company is seeking a highly skilled Medical Claims Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare cost containment team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our medical bill review and negotiation services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-volume data entry with a high level of accuracy, meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
- Manage electronic files, including printing, copying, transferring, and deleting documents as needed.
- Access and maintain computer databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Enter data for envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence, adhering to company standards.
- Format and produce documents using Microsoft Word processing and other software.
- Work with numbers, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to ensure accurate data entry.
- Detect and correct errors, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software to perform data entry tasks efficiently.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical setting with a high volume of data entry.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute or 10,000 keystrokes per hour with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software as needed.
- Comfortable working in a position that requires strictly data entry and computer work.
