Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care
  • Assist with Vital Signs, 12-Lead EKG, Bladder Ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge
  • Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan
  • Participate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
  • Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred
  • Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred
  • Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by either American Heart Association
