Job Summary:

The Dining Services District Manager is responsible for managing multiple accounts in an assigned territory, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple accounts, including food service operations, inventory management, and personnel supervision.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff, including regulatory compliance courses and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular building tours to assess work quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records, including income and expenditures, supplies, food, personnel, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with account managers, administrators, and HCSG staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any incidents or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in management or related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision desired.
  • Specialized training in Dining Services management and nutrition is desirable.
  • Ability to lead, direct, and support a team in a diverse environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including web-based reporting.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
