Patent Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney to join our team at Velocity Ventures. As a Patent Attorney specializing in mechanical engineering, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' intellectual property and driving innovation in the industry.

• Patent Protection: You will be responsible for advising clients on patent protection strategies, including patent drafting, filing, and prosecution at national and international levels.
• Client Representation: You will represent clients in proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office, ensuring their interests are represented effectively.
• Technical Expertise: You will work closely with clients to understand their technical needs and provide expert advice on patent rights and patent searches.
• Team Leadership: You will supervise the work of junior staff and conduct expert opinions on patent rights and patent searches.

• Qualifications: You must be an authorized representative before the German or European Patent Office and have an excellent scientific background.
• Experience: You should have extensive experience in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or physics, as well as very good analytical skills.
• Language Skills: You must have strong German and English language skills in spoken and written form.
