The role of Senior Fleet Mechanic at US Foods, Inc. is a vital position within the company's transportation department. As a seasoned professional with over seven years of experience in heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanics or reefer mechanics, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex equipment such as tractors and trailers.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also handle road service calls, manage inventory, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational goals.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated by your ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs, and a basic understanding of computer software.

We offer a competitive salary range of $22-$38 per hour, depending on relevant experience and/or education. The expected base rate for this role includes shift differential and overtime compensation.
