Rural Credit Analyst

The Farm Service Agency is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Agricultural Loan Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the administration of farm loan programs and providing technical advice and guidance to loan applicants and borrowers.

• Conduct interviews with loan applicants and review loan applications to assess eligibility
• Provide technical advice and guidance on farm loan programs and eligibility requirements
• Assist in the administration of farm loan programs and provide support to the Farm Loan Manager
• Develop and maintain knowledge of farm operations, land use and value, production and marketing of various crops and livestock, and prices and markets in the farming area

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of agricultural loan programs and a proven ability to provide technical advice and guidance to loan applicants and borrowers. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
