Job Title: UAV Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled UAV Operator to join our team at Platform Aerospace. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for the safe operation of unmanned aircraft systems during stateside and overseas operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform flight operation planning in support of customer-driven requirements.
  • Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks.
  • Remote pilot a UAS, following a specific flight plan or modifying flight plans to meet mission objectives.
  • Support flight operations outside the continental United States for up to six (6) months at a time, or as mutually agreed upon.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience as a Pilot in Command.
  • Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Able to obtain FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
