Job Title: Pediatric Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Community Medical Center. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our pediatric patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to act as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan nursing care for pediatric patients, including developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Provide expert care and education to patients and their families, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing wound care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including communicating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Lead and mentor assistive personnel, including orienting new staff members and providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • RN License required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire and PALS within six (6) months of hire.
  • One (1) year Pediatric or related experience required.
  • Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience required.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN Preferred.
  • Previous Pediatric Acute Care and Pediatric Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
  • Pediatric certifications preferred.
