Position Overview:
We are looking for a Full-Time, Onsite Registered Dietitian to be part of our Food Service Nutrition Team. This role involves engaging with the campus community to promote wellness and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nutrition education and training to the campus community through various methods including workshops, individual consultations, and informational sessions.
- Implement wellness initiatives tailored for the campus environment.
- Collaborate with dining management and culinary teams to address dietary requirements of all patrons.
- Provide training on nutrition-related topics, including food allergen awareness, to all staff members.
- Assist in menu planning and nutritional analysis in partnership with the management team.
- Work with marketing to ensure effective communication of nutrition information.
- Lead sustainability initiatives within Dining Services, working alongside operations and campus partners to enhance and report on sustainability practices.
- Engage in hands-on operational activities within dining facilities to ensure high standards of service and culinary excellence.
- Collaborate with various campus departments and organizations to align with university objectives.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure as required.
- Strong presentation skills for both individual and group settings.
- Experience with special dietary needs and food allergies is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with P&L accountability and experience in contract-managed services is advantageous.
- ServSafe Manager certification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis software.
