- Identify and resolve critical performance issues in the development process, covering aspects from the build system to IDE integrations, testing frameworks, and pull request workflows.
- Work collaboratively with the team to define project scopes and priorities by identifying opportunities to reduce build times, simplify system architectures, and improve the overall developer experience.
- Enhance the performance, reliability, and usability of our CI pipeline.
- Take responsibility for your team's projects, ensuring the timely delivery of measurable results.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of robust software development experience.
- Hold a BA/BS degree or have equivalent practical experience in the field.
- Exhibit proficiency in various build systems (e.g., Ant, Maven, Buck, Gradle, Pants) and CI tools (e.g., CircleCI, Travis CI, Jenkins).
- Have previous experience in supporting build or CI systems infrastructure, ideally at a larger scale.
- Demonstrate outstanding software engineering skills and the ability to provide technical mentorship and guidance.
- Have a proven history of developing applications for Android using Java / Kotlin.
