About the Role


Stanislaus State, a university deeply committed to the public good, seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Campus Support Specialist to join our Facilities Administration team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to students, faculty, and staff by performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and customer service. This is a temporary, hourly-intermittent position available on or after June 17, 2024, and ending on or before August 29, 2024, with the possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.



About the Job




  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and making copies, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to phone inquiries efficiently and communicate with department crews via a 2-way radio.
  • Assist with visitor greeters, mail runs, and the upkeep of office supplies.
  • Utilize FAMIS software to create and close work orders, as well as analyze issues in the system.
  • Conduct research and gather data for department inventory, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assist with inventory management, including material checkout and receiving documentation.
  • Organize and maintain building plans files in both electronic and paper formats.
  • Conduct field surveys and verifications of existing campus spaces, capturing conditions with photographs and measurements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service support, follow up with vendors, and maintain a tidy and organized material room.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the department.


About the Ideal Candidate




  • 2 years of previous office experience, with a strong focus on customer service and data entry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, with experience in FAMIS software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid California Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.


About the Benefits
