Position: Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 AM. No weekends or on-call duties required.

Incentive: $10,000 for Student Loan Repayment - Full-Time Position

As a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of a cardiovascular technology program.
  • Preferred certifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist).
  • ARRT Certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia identification.
  • Current BLS certification from the AHA or ARC.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess hemodynamic data effectively.
  • Utilize computer systems for clinical data interpretation and assist in patient care during all cardiac invasive procedures.
  • Support an Electrophysiologist during diagnostic and invasive procedures, including programmed electrical stimulation, sterile scrub techniques, electro-anatomical 3D mapping, catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias, and implantation of cardiac rhythm management devices such as pacemakers.
  • Operate computer systems to analyze complex data for assessing patient cardiac status. May be cross-trained or assigned additional duties as needed.
