RN Registered CNC Med Surg Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in the Medical Surgical department at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a CNC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- Board Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification is preferred and must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
