About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid RN license and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • At least 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, with a preference for 2 years or more.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
