Aerotek is Hiring EVS Aides for a Hospital in Torrance, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous EVS Aide to join our dynamic team at a hospital in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning tasks, including mopping and sweeping, discharging patients' rooms, and distributing linens across all departments. This includes ER, OR, NICU/PICU, Trauma, and Psych departments. You will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and orderly condition of facilities or common areas, break rooms, and bathrooms. This includes refilling toilet paper and other paper products as needed. Your role will involve working in an environment with bodily fluids, BLOOD, and infectious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Discharge patients' rooms and maintain a clean and orderly environment
  • Distribute linens and supplies across all departments
  • Refill toilet paper and other paper products as needed
  • Work in an environment with bodily fluids, BLOOD, and infectious diseases

Requirements:
  • Janitorial experience
  • Housekeeping experience
  • EVS Tech experience
  • Sanitation experience
  • Hospital experience (1 year minimum)
