Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Long Beach, CA. As an SLP at Soliant, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, assessing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills, identifying areas of strength and need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide therapy sessions utilizing various techniques and tools, promoting effective communication and progress.
- Maintain thorough records of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate client success, ensuring seamless transitions and coordinated care.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert input on speech and language goals to inform educational planning.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, demonstrating expertise and dedication to the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and client rapport.
- Experience in a school setting a plus, showcasing your ability to adapt to diverse environments and populations.
