Job Summary: As a Healthcare Transporter with The Tulalip Tribes, you will provide quality and timely non-emergent medical transportation services to enrolled American Indian and Alaskan Natives within our CHSDA and enrolled for care with the Health System. This role requires community contact with tribal community, may involve children, adults, and vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments and services
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One year experience working as a driver or client transporter
- One year experience working with HIPAA and confidentiality
- One year experience working in a Native American community
- Six months computer experience
Licenses/Certifications:
- WA State Driver's License and adherence to Motor Vehicle Regulation
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- HIPAA training upon hire
- Agility exam to determine physical capability
- Abide by Tulalip Tribes vaccination policy
- Pass pre-employment background check
Terms of Employment: This is a regular full-time position.
