Body Shop Technician III

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our body shop team, you will be responsible for performing minor truck and trailer collision repairs, as well as assisting in the removal, replacement, and repair of major components.
Key Responsibilities- Perform minor electrical system repairs, surface preparation for refinishes, and minor cab accessory repair/replacement
- Assist in the removal, replacement, and repair of major components
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
- 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of related education and experience)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational/technical school preferred
- Certification of completion of technical school specializing in the repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Basic computer skills required
The associate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods. The associate must be able to work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
