Goodyear is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Destin, FL. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills to identify and repair vehicle issues.
- Inspect, repair, and diagnose various vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioner, and coolant systems.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay up-to-date on rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Promote teamwork to deliver excellent guest service and ensure timely and accurate repairs.
- Maintain expected standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping, using protective equipment when operating machinery and manual tools.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension and A5 Certification in Brakes.
- State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover business operational needs.
- Ability to use technology and various applications and programs to support correct diagnostics.
- Utilize tools, skills, and product knowledge to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines.
