Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing speech services for students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Speech Services: Create and implement individualized speech plans for students with speech and language disorders, following frameworks of student IEPs, state curriculum, or common core standards.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Provide direct individual and/or group therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Supervise Speech Assistants: Provide clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality services to students.
  • Evaluate Students: Administer comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication skills and identify areas of need.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide interdisciplinary programming.
  • Communicate with Parents: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the treatment process.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and maintain data on student progress, using this information to inform treatment decisions and adjust therapy plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
  • Oregon SLP License: A valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
  • Experience in School Settings: Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SLP - CCC: Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC) is a plus.
