Key Responsibilities- Concrete Finishing: Apply and finish concrete to specifications, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Concrete Repair: Repair damaged concrete areas, including cutting out damaged sections, drilling holes for reinforcing rods, and positioning rods.
- Concrete Mixing: Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry, using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Formwork: Set and align forms to hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth.
- Quality Control: Ensure that concrete finishes meet specifications, including flatness and tolerances.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Cement Finisher or similar role.
- Skills: Good vision, stamina, hand-eye coordination, and knowledge of concrete testing, additives, curing procedures, and spec requirements.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or pull 50-100lbs, climb ladders, work off ladders, and maintain a standing position for extended periods.
