Arizona Western College is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Associate to join our Nursing Assistant Program team. As a Clinical Associate, you will play a vital role in the education and training of nursing assistant students.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver didactic and clinical instruction to nursing assistant students
- Supervise and evaluate nursing assistant students in clinical settings
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet course objectives
- Assist in the planning and coordination of program functions
- Participate in continuing education to improve evaluation skills and maintain competence
- Hold a current, registered nurse license that is active and in good standing under A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15
- Valid drivers' license
- One year of full-time or 1500 hours of experience teaching adults as a faculty member or clinical educator
- One year of full-time or 1500 hours of experience supervising nursing assistants
The Clinical Associate will work in an inside office environment with normal noise and lighting levels. The position may also require travel to clinical rotation sites.
Physical Demands:The Clinical Associate will be required to lift 25lbs and spend long periods of standing and/or walking.
