Nursing Assistant Program Clinical Associate

Arizona Western College is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Associate to join our Nursing Assistant Program team. As a Clinical Associate, you will play a vital role in the education and training of nursing assistant students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver didactic and clinical instruction to nursing assistant students
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing assistant students in clinical settings
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet course objectives
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of program functions
  • Participate in continuing education to improve evaluation skills and maintain competence
Requirements:
  • Hold a current, registered nurse license that is active and in good standing under A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15
  • Valid drivers' license
  • One year of full-time or 1500 hours of experience teaching adults as a faculty member or clinical educator
  • One year of full-time or 1500 hours of experience supervising nursing assistants
Work Environment:

The Clinical Associate will work in an inside office environment with normal noise and lighting levels. The position may also require travel to clinical rotation sites.

Physical Demands:

The Clinical Associate will be required to lift 25lbs and spend long periods of standing and/or walking.
