Maintenance Machine Repair 2nd Shift Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Machine Repair 2nd Shift professional to join our team at Autokiniton's Belleville Plant 2. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment.
  • Dismantle and repair defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair automated machinery and equipment, such as robots and presses.
  • Perform routine and repair maintenance on industrial pumps and scrap conveyors.
  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Requirements:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming principles and techniques with consideration for operator and equipment safety.
  • Basic electrical knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time hourly role that requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be working in a team environment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
