Staff Pharmacist FT

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose of bringing our heart to every moment of our patients' health. You will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and will be accountable for the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

• Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Pharmacy Professional Practice: Provide exceptional patient care and service, and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
• Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations, and identify areas for improvement.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Personnel Management: Supervise and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties.
• Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, and ensure that all medications and supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
• Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, and ensure that all pharmacy operations are secure and compliant.
• Workflow Management: Manage the workflow of the pharmacy, and ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
