Responsibilities:

* Evaluate student speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans
* Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
* Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
* Use professional literature and continuing education to inform practice decisions
* Create a learning environment with effective process management strategies
* Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
* Develop treatment plans with instructional staff that are strength-based and child-centered
* Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines
* Assist teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected speech and language delays/disorders
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
* Valid MI SLP license
* Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
