About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Epic Operations Senior Analyst to join our team at PDS Health. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, maintaining, and deploying the Cadence, Prelude, Referrals, RTE, and SER modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and support application software, hardware, operating systems, and distributed operations systems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Contribute to estimates of resource needs and scheduling of system upgrades and modifications.
  • Work on initiatives to analyze workflows and develop and define IT solutions for improved system integration and functionality.
  • Oversee parts of multiple large-scale, complex initiatives and contribute to the development of new projects at all levels of scope and complexity.
  • Design and conduct user training in system workflows and processes.
  • Troubleshoot escalated issues with software, hardware, operating systems, and identify and coordinate service and support as needed.
  • Participate in the development of complete, concise, and comprehensive policies and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members and key stakeholders to build test plans for integration testing and modify workflow due to new releases and system upgrades.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions on system functionality that can benefit the broader team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Healthcare, Nursing, Business, Computer/Information Sciences, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of recent Epic experience.
  • Patient Experience Centric.
  • Certified in Epic Prelude and RTE (Cadence and Referrals certification recommended).
  • Strong understanding of functionality related to the application workstream.
  • Strong computer skills, including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and others related to job duties.
  • Ability to travel quarterly as required.
  • Must be able to provide on-call support (24/7) and work after hours and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 Epic certifications in job-related workstream.
  • Certified in Epic Cadence and Referrals.
  • Experience in business information system management in a healthcare setting.
  • License and certifications: Any certifications relating to software applications, technology infrastructure, and/or clinical specializations.
  • Knowledge of Dental operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
