Job Title: Per Diem Nurse - Intermediate Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit at our partnering hospital. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Nurse - Intermediate Care will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patients' vital signs.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Current State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1-year acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • Appropriate certifications for the specific position
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
