Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to children from birth to 18 years of age, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to attain expected outcomes, coordinating care delivery and employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes, making adjustments as needed.
- Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles, communicating effectively with patients and families.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support certification required.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside, or meet the licensure requirements in your home state if declaring a National License Compact state as your primary state of residency.
This role requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull, with the ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch are also required, as well as finger dexterity and critical thinking skills.
