Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a House Supervisor. As a House Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care, monitoring quality care, and providing administrative support to our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a resource to the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
  • Rounds frequently throughout the shift to identify issues that need administrative action and communicates forward to the appropriate level.
  • Supervises and leads staff effectively.
  • Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served in assigned areas.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions, and communication style.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse diploma.
  • 3 years of acute care experience.
  • Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to move throughout the department, the hospital, and between off-campus sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in nursing.
  • Critical care or charge nurse experience.
  • ACLS and CCRN certifications.
