Job Title: Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.

About the Role:
The Medical Care Specialist will be responsible for providing supportive and restorative care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications, and performing routine tasks such as suctioning and urinary catheterizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications within scope of practice, collect labels, and process specimens accurately
• Set up intravenous equipment and deliver solutions for infusion through peripheral access devices
• Report pertinent observations, treatments, and incidents to the Registered Professional Nurse and record same on appropriate documents

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current LPN licensure in the United States
• 1-2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy equipment, and stand for long periods

Salary: $44-$48 per hour
