Key Responsibilities

* Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist, adhering to established practices and standards.
* Collaborate with the medical team to review patient prescriptions and diagnoses, ensuring accurate treatment planning.
* Prepare and maintain equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices, to ensure optimal patient care.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

* Completion of at least a two-year approved School of Radiation Therapy.
* One year of full-time experience as a Radiation Therapist.
* Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
* Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
* Current CPR/BLS Certification.
