Taxation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Intern to join our team at Interpublic Group. As a Tax Intern, you will assist with and learn various state sales and use tax regulations and their application to the advertising industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and research unclaimed property such as old outstanding checks.
• Review and file notices, letters, or bills for tax due.
• Maintain and update 10k tax accounts to reflect new addresses and emails.
• Assist on various tax department projects as required.
• Run departmental reports as assigned.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of sales tax returns.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior seeking a Bachelor of Accounting, preferred.
• Must have excellent computer knowledge of Excel.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• P.A of 3.0 or higher preferred.
