Job Summary

The Department of General Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Building Manager IV to serve as the Regional Building Manager over Region II. This is a critical role that requires exceptional leadership and management skills to oversee the custodial operations and maintenance services for a large portfolio of state-owned and occupied buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise a large staff engaged in custodial operations and maintenance services.
  • Develop and implement a master maintenance schedule to ensure the upkeep of all buildings within Region II.
  • Plan and assign work of subordinate staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address maintenance needs and develop solutions to improve building operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of General Services policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
  • Accurate completion of the State Application (STD 678) is required. Resumes or other documents cannot substitute a state application.
  • Individuals who are new to state service must have list eligibility in order to gain employment with any state agency.
