Role Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing warehouse operations. This encompasses the management of receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods and materials. The Warehouse Supervisor will maintain accurate inventory records and schedules, utilizing experience and judgment to achieve team objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the logistics of physical inventory in accordance with the established Inventory System, ensuring the warehouse is organized for efficient inventory management.
  • Evaluate installation schedules and job details to guarantee that necessary materials are available to meet project timelines; monitor stock usage and adjust levels based on business requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate warehouse work activities, documenting best practices for future reference.
  • Provide daily guidance to additional staff as needed.
  • Manage the receiving, storage, and shipping processes for merchandise and materials; ensure inventory is protected from physical damage and secured against loss.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing for stock items, including bulk discounts, and process purchase orders accordingly.
  • Identify and source special or long-lead items; negotiate pricing and provide relevant information to sales representatives and installation coordinators.
  • Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment; monitor usage and ensure items are returned in safe condition.
  • Coordinate and oversee the removal of construction waste.
  • Implement and manage a recycling initiative.
  • Adhere to Renewal standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure internal commitments to co-worker satisfaction are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
  • Work with minimal supervision, applying advanced process knowledge and judgment to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities in managing work assignments and planning projects.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, with a minimum of two years in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
