Compensation

We estimate an annual salary range of $83,000 to $110,000 for this role, depending on experience. This compensation includes a base salary plus additional benefits such as bonuses, commissions, or profit-sharing arrangements.

Job Summary

">

The Registered Nurse - Radiology at Heart Hospital of Austin performs nursing functions for patients in the radiology department. Under the indirect supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, this professional staff person is responsible for performing assessments, developing a plan of care, implementing and evaluating the care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing assessments and developing a plan of care for patients in the radiology department
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with current clinical nursing practice
  • Directing, monitoring, and evaluating the care delegated to non-licensed personnel
  • Collaborating with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional care and efficient completion of diagnostic and interventional studies

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or imaging. A current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and PALS certifications.

We feature a comprehensive 24-hour emergency department and advanced Executive Wellness Program. Our six operating rooms serve the city of Austin, and we have three catheterization labs and electrophysiology services.
