Job Title: Histology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Histology Technician to join our team at Top Health System. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue samples for examination by pathologists, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tissue samples for examination by pathologists, including sectioning, staining, and embedding.
  • Operate microtomes, microscopes, and other laboratory equipment to prepare and examine tissue samples.
  • Conduct quality control checks on tissue samples to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • AS or BS degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • MT/MLS or MLT ASCP certification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
